Hannah is a wonderful storyteller. You can be a good storyteller too. Choose a book you have read. Instead of writing a book report, tell the story in the most interesting and clear way you can.

I think I will write about the book Uglies. It is my favorite book.
Uglies is about the future, when everyone at the age of 16 gets a whole makeover for life. Tally thinks its a wonderful idea until her friend Shay comes along and tells her of all the bad things about the operation. So then Shay runs away and special circumstances , the authority, tries to find Shay but needs Tally’s help. They tempt Tally with getting the operation to find Shay but Tally doesn’t want to and helps her friend.

i’ll tell about the book Snap. it was about a girl who had different colored braclets on her wrist. each braclet was a different color. each color meant a different thing. i don’t remember the whole book.

I’m going to have to choose the book House… The two main people are Jake and Stephanie. They were going to Montgomery for an appointment because they were getting divorced well while they were driving they missed the turn and they asked a cop for directions. The cop told them to go up a dirt road and then take a right and go straight. They did that but their car broke down in front of a spooky kind of road and there were five more people. They searched around for a little while and came across a HOUSE they went inside and the door closed then a can was tossed in it said: Rules of the House #1. God came into my house and I killed him #2 I will kill anyone who comes into my house like I killed god #3 if you bring me a dead body I will let rule number 2 slide you have until dawn.

I’ll tell the story of Desperaux.(The Tale of Desperaux) I don’t why I’m telling this one but… anyways. Desperaux is a mouse that was born incredibly small. He doesn’t know the ways of a mouse yet, he sits right in front of the kings foot and the king wanted to kill him. He goes to the library and reads books. Desperaux was sent to the dungeon, a sacred place that is dark with no light and rats live there. Rats and mice don’t get along very good, the Rats kill and eat the mice. Desperaux fell in love with the princess when he was with her and the king, and the princesses name is pea. So when desperaux was in the dungeon he found a way to escape, and then the rats took pea into the dungeon, and then Desperaux was on a quest to get pea, so desperaux went back into the dungeon, I think he killed a rat or two, and then saved pea. Just read the book.

I read the book Mainac Magee by Jerry Spinelli. Maniac Magee is about a boy,of the white race,who grows up as an orphan after his parents death in a car accident,but not in an orphan home,on the streets surviving on his own.he meets some nice people along the way who take him but he nevers stay with a family or friend to long.the time was a rasist time where one side of the street was where black people lived and the other white.However, Maniac didnt care and crossed each side as he pleased.He made friends on both sides and learned to live life.Its a sad ending=[

the book sister hood of the traveling pants is a great book. Its about these four girls that go off to different parts of the world and arent together for there first time in the summer. One girl goes to a soccer camp in mexico and falls in love witha guy that is to old for her and could get fired if he ever liked her back. Another goes off to south carolina i think and stays with her father for a whole entire summer but is upset when she finds out that her father is engaged. Another stays home instaed of traveling the world like her friends she just stays and works at a borimg depaatment store but meets a girl with leukimia which channges every thing. The last goes to greece and tries to come out of her shell with this guy who walks in on her………skinny dipping. Theyve never been seperated so they sened around the pant which all fit them to keep them together.

I really enjoyed the book The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants. These four girls are separated for the summer. They go to this store and find a pair of jeans that fit them all. So then they knew these jeans were magical and would make something great happen. They came up with rules for when they wear the pants. So, they all take turns with the jeans and when they’re done they send them to the next person. And they never wear the jeans during any other season but summer.

I read a book called Night, one of my favorite books. It was about a teenage boy named Elie in World War II. Elie was living a nice life with his parents and siblings until soldiers split their town up into Ghettos. Elie and his family were then boarded on to a train, on their way to a concentration camp. At this camp, there were tons and tons of people being split up based on gender. Elie had the choice to lie about his name and go with his father, or go with his mother and sisters. He went with the men and had to run all the way to Auschwitz, where they were worked to the bone for a very long time. Elie never saw his mother or sisters again. His father became sick and died. This was a true story.

The book Lord of the Nutcracker Men by Iain Lawerence is about this little boy named Johnny who has a father that makes wooden army nutcracker men for him. One day after work he walks in and he was dressed up for the army he said “They lowered the height to enter the army.” So from that day on his dad wrote letters to him and in each letter was another Nutcracker. Then his mom decided that London is not the safest place for him so she sends him out to the country to live with his Aunt Ivy. Then Johnny pretended to go to school. In the mornings he gets up and walks to town and starts to explore. But one day he comes home and finds his aunt and his teacher sitting in the living room. Johnny got in trouble from his aunt and his teacher for not going to school. From that day on she made Johnny get up and go to school, and for a couple of days she even walked him to school.

I am going to tell about the book Gathering Blue By Lois Lowry.
(any of you who as reading gathering blue do not read this paragraph!)
Gathering Blue is about a girl named Kira who lives on Earth in the future, after the earth crumbles. The little town of the survivors is where she lives, after he mother dies, because of her crippled leg she is an outsider. No one likes her, but when on of the council ruler’s Jamison gets her a job she can do. The job involves sewing, which she can do, but it also involves dying the thread, that she cannot do. Kira loves the color Blue and she knows that no one can make blue for her to dye. Her friend Matt with whom she met recently,goes to go find her blue. He ends up finding something more special. Not only blue but also her long lost father.

I am going to tell you about a book called Backwater by Joan Bauer. It is about a girl named Ivy who wants to be a historian when she grows up, but her family wants her to be a lawyer. She is writing a book about her family History and wants to get a section about her hermit aunt Josephine. To get to her she has to climb a mountain and face life threatening tasks, and on the way up she meets someone…

I’ll tell Scorpia. This book is packed with action and mystery with a slight hint of humor in some places. the characters are all very suspicious. Scorpia is about a corperation called scorpia and some young boy finds out that they are planning to kill hundreds of children so he has to stop that from happening.

I am going to tell you about the story Pictures of Hollis Woods by Patricia Reilly Giff in the book there is a few main characters… Hollis of course Hollis is very picky about people she doesn’t like the Mustard Women at all except for the fact that she brought her to Josie… Josie is one other main characters she is old and has Al-timers but Hollis wants to take care of her…. another character is Steven and his family Steven is a main character him and Hollis get along… Hollis feels that Steven is like the brother she never had… Izzy is a secondary character she is very loving, she loves Hollis and has always wanted a daughter… The Old Man is another secondary character he is not an Old Man Hollis just calls him that…. You will fall in love with this book…. Hollis likes to draw a lot she draws pictures of memories she wants to remember… Can Hollis color everyone’s world??
