  1. Standing up for what you believe in, even though those around you don’t agree.

  5. If someone helps someone else get out of a hard place and that task is difficult to do then that is heroic. If someone were to pull someone out of the way of a moving car then that person would be considered a hero because they didn’t hesitate to help someone.

  6. I think heroism when someone helps another person. Also a hero is is some one who can be kind and helpful and someone people can look up to like if someone was in a snow storm and they crash into a big advertisement board then a person comes and helps dig that car out then that person would probably be considered a hero because that person in the car could’ve died or been seriously injured if the person was not helped quick enough from staying there for a long time in the cold. Thats what i think heroic is.

  16. what makes a hero is..

A hero is somebody who helps people. If there was a lost cat in a tree and the owner was trying to call the cat down and you or somebody came along and said “I can help you mam or sir” and then you climb up the tree and get the cat in your arns bring it back down to the owner. Then the owner would call you a hero and you would be congratulated. Then maybe if your lucky you’ll be in the paper. Thats what I think a hero is.

  17. Heroism is another word for hero.
A hero is someone who helps people when they need it.
Heros also save people from burning buildings and save cats from trees. I think that’s heroism is like being a police officer/firemen and/or emergency medical technical, a doctor, a nurse, or a dentist.

  27. What is Heroism? Heroism, by definition is means heroic conduct; courageous action. When you say hero people think of Super man or Bat man. But being a hero is as simple as helping with homework or helping someone that fell over to get back up. My point being that heroism is not having a costume and powers but helping people. That’s what heroism is to me.
